Mutare Software Announces Auto Out Caller Express App

Mutare Software announced today the introduction of Out CallerTM, the third of five Express AppsTM that will be introduced over the next few weeks. A Mutare Software Express App is an off-the-shelf, value priced, quick-install solution that automates a specific business process. These low-priced applications address special communication challenges and streamline labor intensive processes resulting in lower labor costs and higher customer satisfaction.
The Out Caller application automates outcall campaigns for scheduled notices, such as appointments, upcoming deliveries or payment reminders. Out Caller is a telephone system agnostic application that resides on a Microsoft Windows server in the enterprise. It combines contact information from a data source with pre-recorded voice prompts, including dates, times, and amounts, to construct individualized message for each contact. On a schedule determined by the administrator, the application then delivers those messages by phone to each intended recipient.
"The application has been a great support for our customer service operators and a welcome service to our customers," notes Mike Konopka, IT Manager of Crystal Rock, a bottled water delivery service. Crystal Rock uses the Mutare Out Caller application to notify customers of the date and time of an upcoming delivery so they can be available, or allows them the opportunity to reschedule. The application significantly improves distribution efficiency by reducing the number of missed deliveries and relieves customer service operators of this otherwise time-consuming task.
In addition to delivery notices, Out Caller is used by organizations to automate appointment and bill payment reminders as well as for customer follow-up calls. "Any outcall process that involves a common message with areas of inserted variables for each recipient is a perfect fit for our Out Caller application," says Ben Crown, President of Mutare Software.
Mutare Software also recently introduced Voice Forms, a time and resources-saving tool for creating and responding to voice-based forms, and Password Reset, a self-service application for Avaya Modular Messaging that allows users to reset their own passwords.
Over the next few weeks Mutare will be announcing the availability of two more Express Apps:
- Mailbox Escalation - a call center administrative tool that monitors the message waiting light status of service voice mailboxes. If the light stays on too long, agents assigned to the mailbox are notified in an escalating pattern. This application has similar functionality to the legacy Octel mailbox escalation feature but notifies by email instead of numeric pager.
- Message Monitor - a call center administrative tool that monitors agent voice mailboxes and tracks changes in message status so that supervisors can keep track of, and run reports on, mailbox activity. Tracked information includes total messages, unplayed messages and oldest unplayed message.
