New Feature Lets Users Add EVM Unified Messaging to Their Cellular Phones

Mutare Software announced today the introduction of EVM Mobile™, a new personal productivity feature for EVM Plus. EVM Mobile unifies mobile voice messages with enterprise voice messages. EVM Mobile places cellular voice messages along with the user's enterprise voicemail into email, greatly simplifying voice message retrieval and processing. "For years companies have been struggling with a complex array of so called "unified messaging" solutions that are all but impossible to use," said Richard Quattrocchi, Marketing Director for Mutare Software. "EVM Plus eliminates all that. It is a one-time set and forget operation and there is no user training required. Anyone who is using email today is already trained to use EVM Plus."

EVM Mobile set up is a snap. End users visit a private web page and input their work and cell phone numbers, select their cell carrier, and provide their office email address. The EVM Mobile then sends an email with a phone number string to the mobile phone. The user enters the string in their phone, hits send, and now all voice messages from cellular and office phones are unified in email, which means no more checking for voicemail in multiple places and voicemail and email are unified. If the user is also a Mutare giSTT speech to text subscriber, those messages will be delivered with a text transcription of the voice message included in the body of the email so users can read their voice messages.
