Mutare’s Message Archive for Avaya Aura Messaging, Modular Messaging (MSS) and Communication Manager Messaging (CMM), automatically copies and stores all messages on your voicemail system to a server for permanent storage and easy retrieval.
The Message Archive application works with Avaya voicemail systems or Cisco Unity. Once installed on a server in the customer’s network, Message Archive works in the background, continually cycling through subscriber voicemail boxes for new content. All new messages, including audio files and header information, are copied and saved to the application server on the customer’s network.
Voice Mailbox Backup
Mutare’s Message Mirror is a middleware solution that backs up voice messages in real-time between Avaya Message Stores (MSS). Message Mirror is certified to work with both Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM) and Avaya Modular Messaging (MM). Message Mirror is required for all survivable Avaya Aura Messaging applications and is the recommended option for Avaya Modular Messaging.

Message Monitor & Reporting is an administrative tool that monitors voice mailboxes and tracks changes in message status. Using the Message Monitor & Reporting web interface, administrators select which voice mailboxes to monitor, the time frame for monitoring activity, and the variables to include in a report. This is useful for many aspects of the enterprise including call centers.
Mailbox Escalation monitors the message waiting status for selected service voice mailboxes. If messages are left unattended for a specified period of time, Mailbox Escalation sends out a text alert to assigned addresses in an escalating pattern. Once contact is made and the messages played, the escalation process automatically ceases.
