Spam and scam calls had reached an intolerable level for this organization’s customer support, investment management professionals, and related staff. When turning to their Cisco voice service provider for a solution, they were told Mutare Voice Traffic Filter was the answer.
The Story
Spam, scam, and fraudulent call activity was severely impacting service delivery for this firm’s staff and professionals while elevating the risk of fraud and unauthorized account access perpetrated by voice-based criminal intruders. As Cisco’s recommended voice security solution provider, Mutare conducted a Voice Traffic Analysis on a sampling of the firm’s high-volume call lines which revealed that 17% of inbound calls were wasteful, and sometimes threatening, spam or scam calls – roughly 40 calls per day to each line.
