Notable Updates
User Interface Improvement (profile page)
This New Mutare Voice release unveils a brand new, streamlined user interface with simple access to user controls from a single page. Through expandable menus, users can access their Mutare Voice-enabled Phone Numbers, Notification Methods and Saved Announcements pages for edits and updates. The page also includes a menu of Quick Action links, enabling users to jump directly to controls for recording their personal announcements, adding a phone number or changing notification methods from their PC or mobile device.
One-Click Personal Announcement Recording
Mutare Voice 1.9.3 reduces the steps required to record and apply a new personal announcement down to three, starting with a single click on the Record your Personal Announcement Quick Action link, identifying a phone for the system to call, and then recording the announcement. The new announcement will be immediately activated and applied to your selected numbers with no further action, making announcement changes on the go quick and seamless.
New Delegates Feature
Mutare Voice 1.9.3 includes a unique new feature that gives permitted individuals the ability to securely access profile page controls for another user without the need for shared passwords. From their user page Delegates control panel, individuals can select and grant Delegate status to others who, from their own user page, can then access and edit settings, such as announcements, Out of Office and notification methods, on their colleague’s behalf. This feature is particularly useful for teams using a shared phone number, executive assistants or others in a support role.
New Admin Report and Settings
The Administrative interface includes a number of refinements throughout, including a separate admin-only tab on user profile pages used to edit a user’s role and active status; refined admin control settings for audio quality display, and additional controls for user access and permissions. In addition, a new Audit Log report, providing a clean, chronological summary of system activity for a specified date range, has been added to the collection of administrative report options.

Tabs for User and Admin Controls
- Administrators can now toggle between general and admin-only user settings from the user profile page.
Hide Poor Quality Transcription
- Administrators can set a threshold for audio quality that removes poor transcriptions due to poor audio from notifications.
Immediate Outcall Pickup
- System outcalls for recordings no longer require the user to voice a Hello to begin prompts.
New Controls for User Permissions
- Administrators can determine whether users can add/update/delete numbers in their profiles.
Additional Data Added to Logs
- Inbound Caller ID included in logs for enhanced troubleshooting.
Added Audit Log Report
- Chronological listing of all activity on the system.
